state university. suspicious because of where it was parked. in the end they ended up finding a body in the trunk of a car wrapped in a blanket. they have not identified the victim or even how this person died but their investigation started around 6:30 last night with a car left in a no parking zone on petaluma hill road. a check of the license plate showed the car was tied to a person wanted for questioning in a crime that happened on friday near santa rosa. deputies looked closer and found evidence inside that they thought my have been tied to that crime on friday. they're not revealing a lot of information on what that crime was. again they looked closer. they found that the trunk was unlocked and inside was that body wrapped in a blanket. a lieutenant says the location and the condition certainly make it a suspicious death. i do have calls into the sheriff's department as well as the coroner's office and as soon as i hear from either of them i'll let you know what they had to say. reporting live i
